When the Batterymarch Building was built in 1928, it was hailed as the city’s first Art Deco skyscraper. Just as it marked a new era for Boston then, our historic Boston hotel represents a new celebration — and purpose — for this storied structure.
Defining The Dagny
Historic Boston Hotel
Like a living time capsule, our historic Boston hotel is where yesterday and tomorrow converge in a dynamic city of dualities. The Dagny — Old Norse for “new day” — not only reimagines the landmark that launched Downtown Boston’s rise but pays homage to its illustrious past.
The Dagny is perfectly positioned at the crossroads of vibrant Downtown Boston and the pulse of the Financial District, with most of the cities most iconic attractions within walking distance from our doorstep.
We love dogs at The Dagny, but unfortunately don’t allow cats or any other pets in our hotel. Bring your pup for an additional $75 fee, which includes a dog bed, a bowl and placemat, and treats. The pet fee will be waived if you are bringing a service dog.
We’ll ask you to sign a pet waiver upon arrival outlining the following information: Limit of two dogs per room. Dogs cannot be left alone in your room and are not allowed in our food and beverage outlets unless with the exception of service dogs. Any disruption to other guests will be at the compensation of the pet owner.
Yes! Your room key grants you access to our third-floor fitness center, complete with modern tech touches, state-of-the-art cardio equipment, free weights, and yoga mats. Registered hotel guests can enjoy complimentary access to our yoga classes held on Tuesday mornings at 7:00am and Saturdays at 8:30am.
The Dagny is an easy 3-mile drive from the Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
